Need information about cuba?

hi there, im thinking of living in cuba, but i would like to know how cheap it is? is it safe? and im thinking about investing in fishing boats, buying some boats, because im a fisherman, are there any fishing ports? and where?txx

  1. Cuba is a country of contrasts. Like most islands, imported goods are generally more expensive than in the US, for instance. Local produce is very cheap - but generally has to be bought on the black market. (Such as pork, fish, fruit). The local vegetables are cheap - but of course very seasonal. (I love avocado season !)

    You can't just turn up here and start to work.

    Also, the Cuban authorities are wary about boats, because many Cubans try to illegally enter the US. I am sure there are lots of rules about operating boats from here.


  2. first of all it is safe. second marry a cuban. third where will you sell your fish and get the gas to run the boat? better to take tourists out ...
