Need information about excess baggage charges?

i am flying from new delhi to sydney in qantas airlines, i am allowed 20 kgs of baggage but i have already exceeded 30kgs.Does anyone have any idea how many rupees will i be charged per kg for excess baggage.

  2. Australian Domestic Flights

    Additional baggage charges for all domestic flights within Australia are A$20 per piece plus GST, if applicable.

    New Zealand Domestic Flights

    Additional baggage charges for all domestic flights within New Zealand are NZ$5 per kilo, incl GST.

    International Flights - Weight System

    The weight system applies for international flights worldwide except to or from Canada, USA and US Territories listed below under the piece system.

    Baggage in excess of the checked baggage allowance is charged per kilogram.

    The charges shown apply to travel wholly on Qantas operated services, departing from Australia.

    If your trip involves other airlines or starts in a country other then Australia, contact your local Qantas Office for details on charges.

    Charges are mileage based.

    Mileage is calculated from origin to destination including ticketed points.

    Kilograms in excess of the free baggage allowance are multiplied by the applicable zonal rate.

    International Flights - Piece System

    The piece system applies for international flights to or from the USA, US Territories, Tahiti, South America and Canada via the Pacific.

    Baggage in excess of the checked baggage allowance is charged per piece.

    The charges apply to travel wholly on Qantas departing from Australia, New Zealand and the US. Contact your local Qantas Office for details on charges if your trip involves other airlines or if your trip commences in a country other than Australia, New Zealand or the US.

    Your baggage may be subject to additional charges if it falls into any of the following four categories:

    Additional Piece - Each piece of baggage in excess of the allowed number will be charged as shown in the table below.

    Additional piece and oversized - Each piece of baggage both in excess of the allowed number and whose dimensions exceed the dimensions permitted but does not exceed 203cm (80in) or 32kg (70lb) will be assessed at twice the applicable excess baggage.

    Oversized - Each piece of baggage whose sum of the three dimensions exceeds those permitted but does not exceed 203cm (80in) or 32kg (70lb) will be assessed at the applicable charge as shown in the tables below.

    Oversized and overweight - Each piece of baggage whose sum of the three dimensions exceeds 203cm (80in) and/or the weight exceeds 32kg (70lb) will be subject to the following:

    - Such bag will not be carried as accompanied baggage and must be sent via freight.
