  1. Here's a link to a physics dictionary.

    All the best.

  2. force is energy acting upon something

    momentum is energy of motion

velocity is the speed of a moving object

deceleration is technically not really a correct term because acceleration refers to speeding up, slowing down, or changing direction. I don't know about impulse, and I cannot remember about inertia, although I really should.

  3. force - there are a million ways to define it. An influence that causes a body to change its momentum. At highschool level, a 'push or a pull' is usually a stupid but acceptable definition.

momentum - Difficult to define. It's very similar and related to 'inertia.' You can usually just think of it as its formula (p = mv) ie. momentum is the product of the velocity and mass of an object. It can also be thought of as how likely an object is to resist a change to its motion (i.e. to experience a force).

inertia - the tendency of an object to continue moving at a constant velocity (including stationary) until it is acted upon by a net unbalanced force. (note: inertia is NOT a 'force' itself. it's more like a characteristic of objects with mass and motion)

velocity - vector quantity for the rate of change of displacement per unit time (i.e. the average speed with which an object has moved and its direction overall or at an instant, from its original position)

impulse - impulse = force x time, may be defined as 'the change in linear momentum of a system caused by a force.'

deceleration - a type of acceleration where the velocity of an object has become negative and the net force is in the opposite direction to what it was previously. For example, if you ran really fast so that you were accelerating, then you slowed down, the slowing down would be 'decelerating.'
