Need laptop for college?

I am a working single parent with limited funds. I am currently enrolled into college and in need of a laptop computer. I would like to know if there are any programs to offer laptop computers to someone like me.

I don't know of any "funds".  You should ask your guidance counsellor at college.  They know all about grants and "freebies".

I also suggest that you check out prices at a pawn shop.  They tend to have them.  They won't be the latest and fastest model but they should be sufficient enough to get you through.

Since money is tight maybe you have something you could sell or trade in order to get what you need.

get an apple that comes with a free i pod touch and give it as a birthday / christmas present for your kid.... you'll be the best!

Some laptops are a few hundred dollars./ You should find out what funds are available for any purposes through your college.
