Need lawnmower basics?

Question

my fiance is out of town on a fishing trip and won't be home until tuesday next week.

our backyard looks like a jungle (lol) and my kids are upset b/c they can't play outside.

I can mow the lawn but just need some basic instruction on how to operate a craftsman eagle one 6.5 mower.

there is no bag attachment. just the engine engage switch and a pullbar.

i'm assuming the engage lever is to make the mower move forward and the pull bar is to stop it and/or lift the blades up

some basic how to's for this mower would be great!!!

First check fuel and oil level. Next find the primer bulb ,if it nas one . It will be on the engine ,its a round rubber bulb about the size of the end of your thumb. Pump this 3or 4 times ,now pull the cross bar back and hold it down pull the rope untill it starts . Engage the wheels.  Be sure to keep your kids back and pick-up their toys before mowing. I would hate to give you any instructions over the internet not being familiar with your particular mower.  I would suggest looking in the yellow pages for you closest dealer for Craftsman Eagle.  They will be quite versed in the machine and can give you all the information that you require in order to mow the lawn.

Go next door and ask the neighbor guy how to use your lawn mower.  If you play your cards right he may do it for you.

it would be kind of hard to mess up a mower, just get on it *if its a sit on mower* and start pulling levers and see what happens...
