Need location of hood latch on Mini Cooper S

Question

Where in the interior is the hood release located? There is no owner's manual in the car.

If this is an early (52) model the hood release is in the normal location (if you are english).  That is, it is on the copilots right kick panel!!

The early models (I'm guessing you are in America) as you look down where other American cars have the hood (aka bonnet) release on the drivers side this car has its release on the passenger side just below the glove box. I am also guessing you purchased the car used. My advise is to go to the dealer in your area (or closest one) where they will be so happy to show you the bonnet release as well as a bunch of other fun facts and information. some useful sites for you:

it is on the passenger side on the farthest right, under the glove box/ by the door.

For the update R56 the release lever is on the driver's side footwell (left side)

For the R50/52/53 it's on the passenger side footwell
