I would like some help in finding an old amusement park that is no longer operating, but is still there for some pictures. Preferable one that has a roller coaster (wooden preferred) and/or a caraselle. any one know of any?

  1. Joyland Amusement Park in wichita, ks . . .the roller coaster is wooden and is listed with ACE because it uses an authentic old style rolling stock that was the only park still using it.  It also has a carousel. Look it up at the ACE website.

  2. An amusement park here in Salem Oregon called Thrillville just closed because of the economy.  It's still there obviously because they're hoping to reopen it someday.  You could probably take some good pictures from the parking lot, but it doesn't have any old stuff like a wooden roller coaster.
