I am in a 10 team keeper league (PPR). We are keeping 3 players from last year. This league is very competitive. Although I have outstanding keepers this year. (Got lucky in last years draft) My keepers are Adrian Peterson, Stephen Jackson, and Braylon Edwards. In this league they LOVE running backs. There are 22 RB off the board, 5 WR and 3 QB's. I have 3rd pick.

My question is this with all the RB's gone and the likely hood of any rookies being there when it come back to my pick. Should I.......

a) pick up an elite WR recieve like Colsten/A. Johnson

b)pick up a rookie RB

and WHY???????

I have been thinking for months. I need you guys, help!!!

  1. If possible definitly pick up A. Johnson with your pick. He was the 3rd best WR fantasy wise when he played in games. If he is healthy he has a good chance to be better than Moss this year. Your RB is already stacked so you can wait on a rookie like Forte.

  2. My answer would depend on what positions you start.  If you start a WR/RB flex then maybe you should give more consideration to drafting a RB, but even then if a tier-two WR is available when 22 RB's have been kept, you should go WR.  If you're only starting 2 RB's then you're set at the position and you can look at getting depth in the next round - but you can't get a top ten receiver by next round.  If Andre Johnson, Hooooush, or Colston is available for you they'd be a good bet.  (I'm assuming that the 5 already kept are Moss, Owens, Wayne, Steve Smith, and clearly Braylon - if any of them weren't, go for them first)

  3. i have no clue wat ur asking

  4. Thats alot of RB off the board. With only 5 WR off the board I would deffintly take one of them maybe in your second round pick as well. If you have the 3rd pick with only 5 WR off the board there are probably better WR's out there then Colston or JOhnson.

  5. I would take a shot with Mendenhall; RB for Pittsburgh.  All predictions show he will be the starter mid season and get plenty of goalline touches over Parker.  With Davenport gone, this rookie will see a ton of playing time.
