Need manuel for Kenmore 10 sewing machine. Model # 385.12491

I just got an older model Kenmore sewing machine. I am happy because I wanted one but it's an oldy! It doesn't have a manuel and I am at a loss as how to thread it or even lift the footer. Need, need help please help me. I found a site but they want you to pay for them.

I'm a sewing machine tech and can tell you you have a fine machine that will last you a long time. Don't be afraid to unscrew the cover screws and put a drop of sewing machine oil on any of the moving metal to metal parts. The toothed gears nead grease though and you can do that. Open the cover of the front needle bar that goes up and down and put a drop of oil on the bar and other parts that move metal to metal. Also if your feeling brave you can take the bobbincase and hook out and put a little oil there also. After brushing it out of course. This will help your machine sew well and last a long time. Plus save you tune-up costs. Just put it back togeather in reverse of taking it apart.
