I know the answer I need to know how to do it in my head how do you do 1/3 * 3

  1. well it becomes 1/3 times 3/1 and 3 , and then i just found a common denominator so 3 and 3 become one and one, and the ones stay the same so your answer would be one

    Basically:

    1/3 x 3 = 3/3

    3 ÷ 3 = 1...
