Need middle name help?

Question

ok so I'm having my 3rd boy (exciting and terrifying at the same time!) :) and we know we want the first name to be Adam. Good strong name that flows with his brothers names.

My husband wants to make the babies middle name Angelo after his grandfather, but I'm just not sold on Adam Angelo. What does everyone think? Any other suggestions?

I think Adam Angelo is a nice name! And it's nice if it's honoring a family member. What about inserting another short middle name before Angelo, such as

Adam James Angelo or Adam John Angelo?

Cute boys! I love the name Adam and using a middle name that means something to both of you is important. If you're not fond of Angelo then maybe another family name that you both can agree on. Also, you can honor his grandfather in many ways, what were his interests, where is he from etc. For instance, my cousin Karina was named to honor my grandma's heritage. My grandma loved that Karina honors her Swedish roots and yet Karina gets to have her own unique name. If you decide not to go with a family name for the middle, then here are some suggestions:

I agree, I wouldn't be sold on Adam Angelo either.

Perhaps, you could put in a good, traditional middle name and have Angelo as a second middle name?

I've got two middle names - The second is a family name (Dyson.) My father, actually has three middle name (yes, three!) But his names flow together well and sound good with the last name. (His middle names are Thomas, Pieres and Dyson, haha)

Anyways, I'm sorry, enough with all that. Lol

So, a good traditional middle name such as 'William' could go quite well with Adam and Angelo. Adam William Angelo sounds alright, but William is not the only name out there!

Adam Nicholas Angelo sounds nice to me, but it all depends on your surname as well!

Anyways, I hope I helped you at all, and possibly you could consider Angelo to be a second middle name - As your husband probably wants his son to have a connection to his own grandfather, which I think is alright! Good luck on finding your middle name(s) and congratulations on your 3rd boy! ☺

Peter or Luke. Your husband's grandfather was probably a really great person, but that's no reason to name your kid after him. Adam Angelo doesn't flow well at all.
