  1. look there's nothing to be afraid of going to middle school.it's just like elementary school nothing really different. so don't stress. you are gonna have a great time specially in the 8th grade. it was the best for me and my friends. i'm a junior in high school, so i'm telling it's no big deal, people make seem like it's some sort of thing.when you are in middle school, they gonna tell you grow up you are not in elementary school. and when you are in high school they are gonna tell you to grow up you are not in middle school. They never told me that, cause i'm a good. if you are nice, sociable and work good, you won't have a problem.don't stress about it, it's no big deal. i promise .

    good luck, and have fun.

  2. 1. don't you dare tell any one who you like! i made this mistake only a few days ago, and... i'm sad, we'll leave it at that. (this includes friends)

    2. don't go to your locker after EVERY class, just about 4-5 times a day tops. this makes it much easier. (unless your locker's right next to your class)

    3. talk to people, just randomly ask them a question (you know, during lunch and stuff), and you will have tons of friends if you do this as much as you can.

that's all i can think of, i'm in seventh grade. it's so much easier than you think, especially in sixth grade.

  3. Okay, here's some of my tips from when I was in middle school.

    Be organized- it REALLY helps!

Practice walking through your schedule before the 1st day

Be friendly to everyone you meet because you'll probably meet new friends

Don't make too many locker stops, just the necessary ones

You probably won't like all your teachers, but you only have them for one period so don't talk a lot in their class and get all your homework done and they should have no reason to not like you

If any of the older kids are being mean to you, they're probably just feeling the power and will get over it in a few days. If it keeps happening, do what you'd do in a bullying situation

Be kind to new students because they'll be just as lost as you

Ask teachers if you lose your way, they won't mind helping you out

And just to let you know, as the weeks go on it'll get easier. The first week is always tough meeting everyone.

    Hope I helped! :)

  4. a long answer is only a ramble of nonsense.....u already noe to do good...soon as you get there first day try to make friends you don't want to outcast youself then find it hard later

  5. Its not scary or anything. I was nervous the first day of 7th grade but once i saw some friends everything was great. I'm going to eighth grade this year and am not nervous at all. Just be yourself and stay calm. And ask people what lunch they have so you know who to sit with. Study and do your homework. Some teachers try to embarrass you in front of the whole class. lol. Good luck! =]

  6. Well I'm in highschool but you'll be fine, it will be different from elementary school but there are a lot of benefits also. I went to an extremely difficult middle school where my 6th grade was harder than all years in high school but I think you'll be fine just remember to study and be yourself.:)

  7. I teach middle school. I've also been through middle school. Here are my suggestions based on my most successful middle school students:

    1. Everyone in your grade is in the same situation as you are.

    2. Smile

    3. Ask questions often-especially if you are looking for a classroom.

    4. Don't take ANYTHING personally-people are in a rush the first week or two, counselors are stressed out from scheduling and your principal and vice principals probably didn't get much of a summer vacation. Things usually calm down in a few weeks.

    5. Join clubs, band, chorus, sports or wherever your interests lie. This is where you can make friends who have the same interests as you.

    6. Get a folder for the first day of school where you can store all the forms, etc. you will need to return signed.

    7. Use your student planner!!!!

    8. Stay organized. Keep color coded binders or page dividers in your binder labeled with each subject.

    9. Find out your locker times and plan ahead as to when you visit your locker.

    10. Middle school can be fun! If you make it that way.

    11. Remember that the most "tragic" thing that will happen to you in middle school probably won't matter in a year or two. Allow yourself to see this as only 2 or 3 years out of your long life.

    12. Make friends with everyone. Avoid cliques. The most popular kids are usually overrated. You can be popular by smiling and being kind to EVERYONE.

    13. Follow the rules in class. Smile at your teacher. Tell them to have a nice day. Say hi in the halls.

    14. Don't be afraid to visit the counselor if you are having problems with anything.

    15. Relax and enjoy your last days of summer! :o)
