Need money to play the sport I love!?

ahhh... ok So I live and breath volleyball, It's my obsession, it completes me.... so I bravely tryed out for"travel" volleyball, I made it, but the problem is, its soo EXPENSIVE!!! in total it costs $700. but then I found out I had to pay an extra $338 for uniforms,shoes etc. I really badly want to play....but my parents arent willing to pay!! pls help me I really want to play... :(

i know how u feel because i made the national team this year.  i have to say that buying ten plane tickets to travel around the midwest is a little pricey,  but you should tell your parents that this will make you a better volleyball player and, if u want to play in college then it could save you much more money later on if you get a scholarship or something.  good luck!

haha you sound almost like me I made a club team and the total cost is almost $2000. I know what you mean when you say you live and breath it. But here is what you need to consider. Are you good at it? not to be mean or anything. but if you are really good and you are still in highschool or middle school. Convince them tell them that this may be your ticket to college. haha that is what I used.

do odd jobs or get a part time job if you have to go to school.

and hooking is another way of saying to be a prostitute and sell your body. trust me,do not do that.

if you dont have a job try gettin one. if you have one try gettin a second one. i know it might be alot but if you love the sport (like i do) you have to make sacrifices

If talking to your parents doesn't work, then try working or getting your friends to help  you out.

This is where your true colors are tested. If this is what you really want to do, you'll find a way to get that money. You basically do whatever it takes to get yourself in that program.

If your good you can get a sponsor..Look up volley sponsorships. Or if you're old enough get a job.

walk around and ask people for money... go to buisnesses mabey one will sponser you..... or talk to ur parents heart to heart.

ok heres what you do.. write letters to small business ask if they will help you by them sponcering you it really does help..
