I finally stopped eating burgers, fries, and all those fatty foods u could think of...

i keep trying to find healthy foods i could get whenever i go out with friends and stuff... so i'm doing subway (tuna/sliced turkey.. with whole bread).. and i do saladas and soups... now, the only restaurant i go to is T.G.I Fridays and i get the DragonFire Chicken (sooooo delicious!!! u should try it! it has brown rice and steamed broccoli hehe) and its so cheap!

but there's gonna be more than that! any ideas?

  1. If you can find one, try Pick-Up-Sticks.  They make the wok dishes to order and you should find a DragonFire chicken equivalent for less.  White, brown, or fried rice (extra) is available.  Try the cream cheese won-tons although it isn't exactly health food.

  2. Yes, there are tons of very yummy, healthy, foods you can buy at your local supermarket. This blog is dedicated to talking about them. I think it is exactly what you are looking for!

  3. One of the best substitutes for fatty foods is eggs.

It is a great source of protein and is proven to fill you up, while burning more calories than a normal meal of protein.

  4. I would suggest ordering any type of white fish, like tilapia or haddock. As long as its not fried or cooked in butter or heavy sauces. Plus fish is a good source of vitamins.

  5. There are tons of good foods that you can eat outside of Subway that are still healthy for you.

Turkey Chillie, Boca burgers, Lentils, grilled chicken, guacamole salad, salmon, and wheat pastas.

Stay away from white sauces, fried, or sauteed foods.
