Need more info about HCG levels around 4-6 weeks?

Please help me! My last period was July 8th, meaning Im 6 weeks pregnant. Well I went to doc and everything was good, but then I started spotting on Sat at 6 PM and my hcg was 5192, and they said i was around 4 weeks pregnant judging by ultrasound. I spotted a little on Monday afternoon. I had my hcg tested Monday at 10 AM and it is only 6414. The doctor said it should double. So what does this mean?

Your hcg levels should double every 24 hours so if they havent it could mean a problem with the pregnancy.  If you have only had a little bit of spotting that does not necessarily indicate a problem and your hcg levels are good for 4 weeks so i would wait and see what happens.  Your hcg levels should go up, are they going to check them again anytime soon?
