Need more info on changing the speacker on my ford explorer 2003?

So i was gona replace my speackers on my ford explorer 2003. and im not really sure how to get the speacker out of the door. like... dose the metal grid thing come off, or do i need to take the door apart or what? not really sure how to do it on my car. i want to know how to get the front and back speackers out without potentially destroying anything. also any tips on attaching the speackers would be helpfull to. thanks.

Yeah you will have to take the door panel off. www.crutchfield.com should have instructions on how to take it off, and show you what speakers you can fit.

But basically just find all the screws holding the door on. Most are pretty easy to find. Then just pull the panel off, slowly and gently. Dont force anything.
