  3. Narnia

it may sound childish but once you pick it up, you won't put it down, this book really grabs you.

its about 4 children who enter a magical land through a wardrobe

you must have heard of the movies

    any way its great

  4. I recommend this book: The Time Traveler's Wife.

This is the extraordinary love story of Clare & Henry who met when Clare was six and Henry was thirty-six, & were married when Clare was twenty-two and Henry thirty. Impossible but true, because Henry suffers from a rare condition where his genetic clock periodically resets and he finds himself pulled suddenly into his past or future. In the face of this force they can neither prevent nor control, Henry & Clare's struggle to lead normal lives is both intensely moving & entirely unforgettable.

This is a beautiful book, if you're a sucker of love stories with rather happy endings this is the one for you:) This is the book that's touched my heart. Even my friends who hate reading actually read this & loved it!

    Enjoy:)

  5. Try the Companions Quartet, by Julia Golding. It's really good! There are four books in it: Secret of the Sirens, The Gorgon's Gaze, Mines of the Minotoar and The Chimeras Curse. It's about this thing called The Society for the Protection of Mythical Creatures, and it's members. They have to battle this evil shape-shifter thingy and stuff like that! Trust me, you won't be disappointed!

His Dark Materials by Phillip Pullman

Inkheart and Inkspell by Corneila Funke

The Chronicles of Ancient Darkness by Michelle Paver

The Eragon books by Chris Paolo or something like that.

    The Sebastian Darke series

Any Eva Ibbotson, Terry Pratchett, Philip Pullman, JUlia Golding books!!

  7. Try the Sabriel, Lirael, and Aborsen books. Its a series and its REALLY good. Its a fantasy, romantic, and scary. I found myself completely caged within' the pages. That's how eye attracting the book is.

    Also,

    Blizzards Wake,

    A loving Scoundrel

    Twilight

    Murder me, or love me?

Sorry I couldn't give the authors right now. But I know this is really rude, and I'm soorryy but could you return the favor and help me too???

  10. One of my absolute favourites is "Wicked" by Gregory Macquire. It is the "true" story of the Wicked Witch of the West and what led up to her famous battle with Dorothy (Wizard of Oz).  Macquire is just brillliant in retelling this story from a completely different perspective.  It's actually recently been made into a Broadway musical and is getting rave reviews.

One of my favourite authors is Sherri S. Tepper.  She write science fiction from a feminist perspective.  Fantastic stories that completely catch you up in the most amazing scenarios.  Some of her novels are fantasy types but most are true science fiction.  Some of my fav's are:

    - "Gate to Women's Country"

    - "Beauty" (the real story of Sleeping Beauty)

    - "Gibbon's Decline and Fall" - fantastic!

Terry Pratchet's "The Wyred Sisters" is also a lot of fun.

    Enjoy!
