pretty close to fair price. the motor is the main value here.  john boats are cheap and easy to find. good working  motors are not.

Looks like a good deal.  Make sure it is what you are looking for, not just a boat that meets your price range.   Should be able to provide years of service to you with low maintenance on your part.

I would not give you 995 for that because that is a mid 80s motor and those old mercs. can be cantancerus! I would look for somthing a little newer If I had a grand to spend. Keep looking you will find somthing better.
