and your husband said he would do it for you, what would you do?

Let's say you are both early to mid thirties with 3 kids age 13, 10, and 2 and a half. Let's say your know in your heart that to complete your family you wanted one more child- one to be closer in age with the 2 and a half year old. Let's say your husband is not really thrilled about the idea, and he certainly isn't convinced it is necessary. Let's assume your marriage is terrific, and you love each other deeply. He tells you that he will have another baby- but it is mostly for you... Of course he will be happy about the new baby, he would never say "I didn't want this", or anything like that. There is actually a part of him that wants it too, but it just isn't a strong desire like yours. What would you do?

  1. Have it.....he said that he would have one.

And he isn't totally against it.

Obviously if you already have three healthy children you are doing something right!

  2. He gave you the green light he's okay with it, so have fun making and having another one!  I'm sure if he didn't want anymore and honestly felt that way he'd let you know.  I would imagine that the youngest would benefit having a sibling close in age as well.  Go ahead!!! :D

  3. I would start getting it on to try and conceive that BABY. LOL

  4. I would have the baby.

  5. We had four boys, I was feeling like maybe I might be ready to be done.  My husband really wanted one more baby, and I decided I could probably handle it.  We are now expecting our fifth son in October, and I'm very excited about it.  So my husband had the stronger desire for another in the beginning, but we are both looking forward to our new arrival now.  Give it to God.  Since your husband says okay, it's probably actually okay with him and if God grants you another baby, be happy!  Your husband will love him/her just as much as the others.  Good luck with your decision.

  6. If you really want one then have one! but don't just do it to have a child whose closer in age to the 2 and a half year old, do it for you. He isn't opposed to having one so why not?And if he was a good father to the first three then he would be a good father to this one too!
