Need opinions! Should I pick a different career with IQ score of 128?

I went today to take a test to see if I was smart enough to enroll in cosmo school this fall. Well, I ended up getting a 128 on the IQ test. The instructor said no one ever scores that high on their test. So know I'm wondering if thats really a good score and if so, should I choose a different career path? thanks in advance!

IQ is just a score showing how you can do a test that somebody says makes you "smart."

I've seen idiots with High IQ's, which had no common sense.

Regardless of IQ- you should do what you WANT to do with your life.

Your IQ score suggests you are good enough to go way further in academics. However, IQ is only one of the few measures of a person's capability. But just at the outset, that is not the worst score in the world.

With an IQ ranging from 128-141 on different scales, I am an Industrial Engineer, and also happen to be very dumb in lots of things outside science and math. You have a typical example in here.

The average IQ is 100.  So, if you compare yourself to the average, you are obviously higher and thats a pretty good score.   However, IQ is not always correlated with career success. Based on your IQ, it seems like you are pretty smart and have the potential to do a lot.  As far as a career, you should do what you love and what you will be happy doing.
