Need opinions on names for a baby girl...?

Question

It is always easier to hear what people you don't know say because it is easy to get defensive when family members pipe up! We are expecting a little girl in the beginning of November and are at the "name game" point. Here are our three options thus far.

Audrey: Found it while student teaching, the girl found a special place in my heart

Naomi: Came to me while reading the Bible

Bella (Isabella): I come from a very Italian family

The middles names I like are: Grace and Rose (overused but who cares :))

I absolutely love Bella Rose, it is soooo pretty.  One thing I learned with my two boys was the best thing for family and friends is to choose the name you like most and just tell them you haven't decided, or that it's a secret.  Before the baby is born everyone thinks they can have an opinion and turn their nose up but if you just introduce your new baby as 'this is Isabella Rose (or whatever)' everyone just goes, 'ahh that's pretty!'  Saves lots of annoyance!!!!!!  Good luck.

Naomi Grace is beautiful plus its Biblical. I would of thought Audrey to be too old fashioned for a baby. Bella Rose is another option. all the best on the birth of your daughter.

I personally don't like the name Audrey.

Naomi is GORGEOUS! Definitely my favorite of your three names.

Bella short for Isabella is very pretty also.

Grace is a nice middle name. Grace is a cute first name to. Gracie Rose is neat. Grace goes great with any of your three name choices and almost any girls name you can think of. That's probably why its used so much.

Rose is a great middle name also. Isabella Rose is darling! The "R" sounds in Audrey Rose are too close together and doesn't sound right to me. Naomi Rose is ok, but Naomi Grace sounds better in my opinion.

Wooooow! They are all so beautiful! My favourite name for a girl is Isabelle Rose, by the way! Rose and Grace are names that go very well with any first name. I also like the names Audrey and Naomi, and it's great that they are of special meaning to you, too. I think whatever name you choose will be just perfect for your baby girl. Congratulazioni!

Naomi and Bella are my Favorite of the 2 and I love Grace. Despite the fact that it is over used it will never run out of style. It is such a beautiful and delicate name! Good Luck!
