First, my brother says once I get my permit he'll help me find a car under 4k. But I was just going to get my permit the day after I get the car. Thats more of a rant so you don't have to answer that but.. meh.

Second, my budget for a car is 4k. My brother says not to get a chevy camero because they are like boats and not worth the money. But thats the only thing i've found within my budget. Its 3000$ with 100,000 miles on it.

Third and last, the car i'm looking for is something that gets 20-25 miles per gallon in city with atleast under 80,000 miles. It is a plus for it to be a 4 cylinder and kinda sporty since i'm 19.. and a guy.. but this would be my first car. Is this even possible for not wanting to spend more than 4 grand?

  1. You can easily find something that gets the fuel mileage you want for the money you want to spend, but not for the miles you are looking to find.  $4000 will get you any number of highly reliable four cylinder vehicles that are sporty as well.  1990-1995 Acura Integras, Toyota Celicas, Mitsubishi Eclipse/Eagle Talon Tsi AWD, Cavalier Z24, Nissan 300ZX, Toyota MR2.  Don't fall for Mustangs and Camaros-they won't get the mileage you want and are very unrefined to drive-unless you are going in a straight line.  Good Luck

  2. go with the camaro it gets close to 30mpg on the highway with a v8

  3. Nothing for what description you gave me, maybe abused Honda Civic CRX, with 100k miles.
