My ex continues to follow me and I have protection order in place. yes I take different routes and call the police every time. This last time which was thursday, my ex told the police he saw a truck that looked like mine but wasn't sure. My ex was actually tailgating me and every time I changed lanes so did he, flicked me off. I was so scared he was going to harm me and my children. I called 911 immediately but by the time the police arrived he sped off. He did this for over 2 miles with my children in the car. Will the police fall for his lies? They said they would forward to an investigator, does that mean the case is over? Please help he can't get away with doing this.

The vehicle I drive, I have had for 5 years and my ex use to be the coowner of it until last year when we divorced, won't they look at the fact and see he is full of it.

  1. If you have a protection order, why is he even in the same general area or vicinity?

Take your cell phone and dial 911 at what point on freeway you are, take pictures with cell phone of him behind you.

The police will set him up one day soon by the sounds of it.

  2. You'd better hope the police doesn't fall for his lies and i depends how believable they are

  3. Bring your camera with you wherever you go. Document him behind you, tailgating you and bring it to the judge who issued the order. I'm not a police officer, but this is what I would do.

    Good luck!!

  4. you can take pictures of him with your cell phone or report him for stalking you also ckeck online in your area for adult abuse although you are divorced you can still get free support for you and your children

  5. luv3dbb is right

  6. Cops aren't stupid, they know what's going on. Get in touch with the investigator assigned to you or if one hasn't already go in and talk with one. Depending on what their protocol is they may set up a sting op to catch him in the act for evidence to prosecute. Right now it is your word against his.  I would contact also local women's abuse advocates to get help also with how to proceed, they should have lawyers available probono to assist you through this. Good Luck.
