Sorry, but Corolla is the ugliest car I've seen in the last 10 years. The Lancer doesn't rank well because of its so-so interior. I would personally recommend the Mercury Milan. Though it is roomier and is a midsize sedan, it has decent acceleration and fuel economy. It also has very good crash test ratings. Consumer Reports says it has excellent reliability.
