Need reception idea's Brainstorming if you will?

Question

Okay i'm having a Hawaiian themed wedding. my reception is a pig roast type of luau (spelling)

I plan on having a moon jumper thing for the kids, a rock climing wall for myself and my partner, a dunk tank in place of the dollar dance...

random lawn games like that ladder game, horseshoes, lawn darts (the old fashion dangerous ones) lol,, a bingo tent and a poker tent.. both of those with prizes... Having myself and partner learn an easy hawaiian dance that we will teach everyone in place of our dance (maybe) or i'll hire someone to teach the dance while we are there!

What else can i add to make this a FUN TIME for EVERYONE!

or did i cover it all!

I have a venue for inside and outside both with a full kitchen and LOTS of space!

hey I'm an event organiser and this theme is really popular there are several websites that provide decorations and ideas such as Tiki Totem Poles etc if you find a good website they even provide themed games which you are looking for

it is even possible to create outdoor beaches however the venue owner may not approve.

i think the idea of candle lanterns for outside create a romantic atmosphere, and if done in the correct way can create an excellent Hawaiian Luau.

to have open flames outdoors you may need permits so if this is an idea you have contact your fire dpt.

I think you covered it all!!  My word that is an extravagant wedding!  I even think you can do with out the bingo and poker tents!  This is your day to have fun, if you have too many activites going on, you might go insane!

edit:  I did think of another idea just for the kiddies...face painting!

Have colorful lanterns and lots of sand and seashells. Make drinks with the little umbrellas and have a lot of fruit like cut the center out of a watermelon and place fruit inside. I have seen it done and it's a nice touch. Sounds excellent! Have fun!

Make sure to give everyone a lei as they walk into the reception.  Have signature drinks at the bar (Blue Hawaiian, Pina Colada, Daquaries, etc)
