Need restaurant recommendations for Avalon on Catalina Is.?

Question

I'm heading over there with my wife and two teen aged children for the day in a few weeks and need recommendations for a nice dinner spot. Money is not an object, just want good food, service and atmosphere.

I've always heard about the Country Club, but here's something from a local reviewer:

Best for Dinner:

Armstrong's Seafood Restaurant: Fresh fish and a terrific view. This place has been here for over 20 years, so they must be doing something right.

El Galleon: Serves steaks and seafood, and according to someone I overhead on a recent trip, they have great barbecued ribs, too.

Ristorante Villa Portofino: Casual but elegant, Italian cuisine.

Catalina Country Club: Dining room, outdoor patio. At the Country Club, but open to public for lunch and dinner, serving California cuisine. Live jazz in summer
