  1. Just do what ever fits you. Go to the closest davids bridal they can give you lots of help. Its your specail day do what you like!

        Hope tis helps!

  2. You need to play up something about your personality. What things do you like?

I am going a vintage French theme. I am a prissy girl and love fancy and ornate things. Our venue is a vintage French restaurant with ornate antique decor , I hired classical musicians and we are havinga  prim and proper champagne brunch. I just bought my dress and it is a beautiful dress that looks fancy and classic.

You need to think about what you like, colors you like, music...movies, places.

Our wedding was inspired by the Tour de France because we met cycling and plan to travel to the Tour for our honeymoon next summer. It started out as yellow and white and kinda cheeky bike theme and morphed into antique gold and ivory and very plush and fancy French.

Maybe get some magazines and browse.

  3. Look at some wedding sites and see what seems to strike you.  Get some wedding magazines and pull out pictures of things you like.  Go to a bridal store and try on all kinds of different styles of dresses..you will know "the one" when you put it on....

No one can pick these things for you, but you.  You know what it is that you like better than anybody else.

  4. I am planing on getting married and I am going away in my state of New york I have many suggestions look at this website it a start. They have great packages or just higher a wedding planner but I like it better to go away and invite close family and have an intimate wedding? Best wishes! http://www.thefoxandthegrapes.com/

  5. Well, first off, you have to figure out your budget.  Once you figure that out, you can start planning.

As far as a theme, there are as many of them as there are stars in the sky.  What are some of your likes?  If you like romance, you can't beat Cinderella.  If you're more casual, then something more laid back.  There's the beach theme.  There are goth weddings, costume party weddings, Renaissance weddings, biker weddings...the list goes on and on.  Find something you like and go with it.

Since it's a spring wedding, you could use pastel colors, although just about anything goes anymore.

Let us know your budget, what colors you like, if you want a tradional wedding or something out the ordinary and we can help you better.

    Good luck!

  6. go to www.davidsbridal.com they have a sale going on right now

  7. start by making a binder of all the things you like. use binder tabs to separte things into categories such as bridal gowns, bridesmaids gowns, flowers (bouquets, boutonnieres, decorations), reception & ceremony sites, tuxedos, hair styles...etc. find pictures on the internet (theknot.com, weddings.com, etc.) and in magazines.

you can find a color combination here:

also, here is checklist for you to printout and keep in your binder that will help keep you organized:

good luck, and if you still need help, there is always an option of a wedding planner!

  8. I knew a wise planner who once advised me to look through home decorating magazine, photography magazine, etc....and pull out pages that I liked. Find styles and colors that jump to to you...and then, choose your colors based on one of those pages/photos. It will help you narrow down the process of choosing out of so many colors, because you will immediately see what looks great together.

For ideas like this, check out http://www.stylemepretty.com/category/we...

Also, if you are looking for a FANTASTIC and reasonable wedding photographer, check out www.Noeyehasseen.com. The woman who owns the company travels worldwide to do wedding photography, and she did mine. I did not meet her until the morning of the wedding, but I could not have asked for a better photographer. I felt like I knew her for years, and we just had so much fun. And because she travels in for the wedding, she is there as early as you want her, and stays until you leave.

You can also check theknot.com for color and decor ideas....they are stocked full of all that :-)

    Hope this helped!

  9. You don't need to have a theme for your wedding. It's not absolutely necessary. If you have a theme then you can usually base your colors on that.

Do you have any favorite colors? I suggest you take the colors that you like and try to incorporate them in the wedding.

As for the dress - what style dress do you like? Do you have a budget? Maggie Sottero makes beautiful dresses - you should definitely check out her website. If you have a bigger budget for your dress then you should check out Pronovias as well...but they can be a tad pricey.
