Need solar power estimate in Chicago?

I want to outfit our 2-bedroom house with solar panels. Are there any chicago companies that give estimates and do this sort of thing? What would something like this run for a 2-bedroom house?

This wont answer your question, but you should check out wind power. Small windmills are more productive and much cheaper (per watt) than solar. Especially in "the windy city" it could work for you day and night. Just a thought.

There are solar contractors in Chicago and the Chicago area.  You need to learn a lot more about solar before investing any money in it.  Mistakes can be costly.  Read up on solar, under solar panels in the green box above, and on the Internet.

Of most importance is that the panels must get full sun for most of the day.  Even distant or partial shade hurts.  Also it is best if your ridge line runs east and west, so the panels can be on the south side.
