Need solutions for getting stuff off of a wooden dresser.?

Something leaked on to my newspaper that I set on my dresser and now I have the newspaper words with some of the paper stuck to my dresser. Any ideas on how to get the words and little bit of paper off? It's a wooden dresser with a nice finish....

Try using lemon oil on a rag - rub the spot vigorously and then wipe off the lemon oil with a clean dry cloth. Keep polishing with a dry cloth until the dresser shines.  I hope this works.

It is probably the old wax on the dresser that got the paper stuck to it.  Use some paint thinner on a rag and wipe the top of the dresser.  The old wax will come off along with the printed stuff.  You can follow with some lemon oil and a clean cloth.
