I have had this cactus for about 11 years. It has only bloomed twice. Does anyone out there know if there is some way to make it bloom yearly. (I don't know if it does.) Any info would be greatly appreciated. I would really like to know how to care for this plant better. Thanks in advance!

  1. you stress the plant by reducing the amount of water it is getting for a month or so and slowly increase the water when you see the flower buds starting to form, when they are the size of a pea.

bright indirect light will also help.

if you reduce the amount of water in sept/oct you can have a 'thanksgiving/christmas cactus.

    refresh the soil yearly.
