Need some credit card help!?

I have a question about Credit Card fraud. I have a US Bank credit card, well we had some charges pop up on our account from some cam site. They totaled $75.14 all together. I know its not a whole lot. We called the credit card company and told them. They canceled our card. They also sent us some paper work to fill out saying that we did not make the charges and so on. Well my question is, after we send the paper work in what happens? Will they look for the person who done it, or since its such a small amount they wont even bother? I read somewhere that they wont even do anything unless its like over $ 1,000 dollars. Is that true? I am just curious what goes on afterwords. Thank you so much!

  1. They are just making sure that it wasn't you who "done" it.

The paper work is part of the dispute process.

They cancelled the card as a precautionary measure and they will re-issue you a new one.
