Okay, here's the story.

I'm a relatively reserved, shy kind of guy and school has just started. There is a girl that is extremely cute and I cannot figure her out. She's going out with an exchange student who is not going to be here for more than a few more months. I am relatively good friends with her boyfriend and so I see the girl quite a bit. What doesn't make any sense to me is that she will randomly shout my name and shoot over a smile and a wave (or some random pose and smile) during class. And that's it. She doesn't say anything other than my name. I don't get it.

So, could some ladies, preferably, help me out with trying to figure out whats going on?

Sounds like this girl is a big flirt.If her man is your close friend and that is how she treats his friends by flirting she will do the same to you if you get with her.Be careful.
