Need some help for high school

Question

hey i should i go back to high school i am 16 turning 17 and i left last year in 9th grade i am not so bright at school and i want to go back but i am doing online highschool program its accredited should i go back i have like 7credits from my online program i was thinkiing geting like 16-18credits from online since you need 21 to graduate from online high school and regular need 24 and go back next year and try and stay one year do PE and someother needed course try to pass the test and graduate from there what you guys think will it work please let me know thanks

If I were you I would speak to a guidance counselor from your old school or from an alternative adult education institution in your area.  There are many options for finishing your high school education that do not have to include going back to a more traditional setting at all, but in every state/province the rules and options are different.  Also, talk to your parents, they may be able to offer support and advice you hadn't thought of yourself.  Although I would not entirely discount the merits of online courses, do not completely shut yourself out of a classroom setting.  Working with others will provide you with learning experiences as well as a peer support system that a computer simply can't provide.
