  1. Locate the local Blue Cross Blue Shield online in your state. The site will have pricing, and online application. Purchase high deductible plan to keep premium low. Most services covered without having to meet deductible such as doctor office visits, medication, annual physical, and urgent care. Vision is usually included, but not dental.

  2. That one.

  3. medicade, go apply for it at the social security office. takes a while to get, but worth a shot

  4. Check out United American Insurance. It is a defined benefits policy that covers in hospital coverage but is less strong on out patient benefits. Talk to an agent and make sure you understand your exposure. This plan can, depending on health  can save you money and fit your budget.

  5. OK, well, dental is a seperate policy (as is vision).  So, if you're HEALTHY and 20, you can get health insurance for around $200 a month with a very low deductible.  Or if you're 30 and healthy, and willing to take a $2500 deductible, you can still get coverage for $200 a month or slightly less.

If you're not healthy, depending on what's wrong, either that condition is not going to be covered, or you flat out won't find someone willing to insure you.

You need to find a local, independent agent (www.iiaa.org) to search out plans for you in your price range.

  6. i think what you are wanting doesnt exist, if it did, then all americans would have affordable insurance coverage

  7. okay i have come to notice that all you seem to ask are questions about medical care. although i know that the economy is stressed, maybe you should seek a doctor. a.s.a.p.

  8. set aside some "cookie jar" money every month

  9. see if you can join a group such as small business association, or other associations of businesses, profesionals , and orthers.  you do not have to have a business lisence. also see if you can join any chamber of commerce. by being part of a large group you will cut insurance cost by a large percentage.

the best is to get a part time job that offers insurance.

    enrollment.

if your young and in good health stay with a ppo or hmo.

if your only worried about catastropic occurances.

you can get major or catastropic insurance very reasonable if your young.   also universities, and colleges offer very good and afordable insurance for very small cost.

if your in school take advantage of it.   all you need to do is take a class.

    good luck
