I have already been to most of western and some of central europe. I have not spent that much time in spain though.

I will be gone between Dec15th and Jan 5th arriving into frankfurt

I am looking for a good route to take. I need to plan a little now so i can get my really cheap airfare. I also plan to see my friend in nederlands from the 2nd to the 4th

I was thinking id fly out of Frankfurt and into spain for like 13 or 14 days

then spending the rest of my time in eastern europe then i travel to amsterdam to meet my friend and back to frankfurt...

I need a good a route and time schedual to make sure I can get everything i want to see in .

I will be flying into barcelona (but dont need to spend any time there becuase i was already there...

anyone that can help me plan a little bit time wise, would be appreciated

THANKS!

  1. Go from Barcelona to Madrid. In Madrid rent a car and do the following (this itinerary includes Portugal...hope you don't know it yet) go to Cascais, from there you can visit both Lisbon and Estoril, then go to Baiona Spain and stay at the Parador del Conde de Gondomar, (it is an old castle turned hotel) you can visit Vigo while you are there (daytrip), from there go to Santiago de Compostela and stay at the Parador de los Reyes Católicos, from there go to Gijón (a little town in Asturias) and visit Covadonga (day trip), then go back to Madrid. From Madrid you can go to Avila, Granada, Seville, and Zaragoza.

    Hope this helps...

    Good luck!!!
