Okay,i have psp myself and helped my cousin with this to,there should be a switch on the left bottom side for(internet connection)

an also,you have to go to mmm i belive connections something like that on the main screen up on the menu,an mess around an sign up for internet connection profile

Are u in a area covered with wireless network, it is usually named wifi and u can find it in places like mcdonalds and cilantro!
