Need some help with Oblivion Mods?

I know how to install '.esp' type mods but I've come across alot of great ones I can't get because they are '.rar' and I have no idea how to install those. Could anyone help me with that?

.rar is a file extension, where the files are actually hidden inside of it (makes it easier to trade the mods).  To get to them, you need to install a program called WinRar, which handles these type files.  Once you get WinRar installed, you need to 'extract' the .rar file into a folder, and then you open the folder and the files you want are in it.

Then when you get the option (Before it downloads) to Open or Save, choose Save and choose a location you can remember and find easily. Then right click the icon after it is finished downloading and there will be a tab labelled 7-zip and the choose Extract to... and type in:

C:\program files\bethesda softworks\oblivion\data

And it should be there.. and just activate it like normal.

u should download Oblivion mod manager then right click on the rar file and extract it.
