Need some help with WIFI?

alright so im tryin to play wii wifi. i have a wifiMAX usb wireless signal or w/e you call it. its plugged in to my computer but my computer is acting like it needs another source to function, like that im using this WIFI MAX as my primary internet source for my computer. I already have high speed comcast though, and im just trying to get a signal out to my WII. what am i doing wrong?

  1. i dont know maybe the ur wifi hub doesnt have a driver to detect the wiis signal


  2. The USB adapters are mainly made for receiving the wireless signals, not broadcasting them. You can try to set up an ad-hoc network with your PC, then connect to it with the wii, but that can be sketchy. I recommend getting a wireless router- It's the easiest, simplest, most painless solution. My favorite? Linksys's WRT54G-L. A good deal is about $60. Email or IM me if you need more detailed info, or google ad-hoc.

  3. If your wifi is working correctly, your Wii should pick it up.  Try resetting the Wii.
