Need some help with summer packet thing:

6. Name the five major divisions of chemistry.

23. List five forms of energy.

31. Two different ways to express an isotope

For number 6, the book I have doesn't help at all. Google results are too jumbled to make heads or tails.

For number 23, I can think of Kinetic, Potential, Chemical, Electrical, Radiant, Stored Mechanical, Thermal, Nuclear, Motion and Gravitational - but, I don't know if there are certain ones for chemistry.

For 31, I have no clue. Once again, the book doesn't help.

  1. 6. There are many divisions of chemistry. I know you said the book doesn't help, but it seems like the divisions you're looking for depend on your book's definition. They may just be titles of sections of a chapter.

    23. If it just asks for 5 forms of energy, any of the ones you listed works, unless you summarized the actual question.

    31. This one is straightforward. element name hyphen number of protons + neutrons, or with the protons + neutrons as a superscript prefix to the symbol of the element. e.g. carbon-14 or ^14C

  2. for #31, it could be that an isotope has different numbers of neutrons

    thus, have differ weight

What do u mean by expressing?

#23, all energies r certain and used in chem but not sure about motion and gravitational (sounds more like physics)

    #6, Analytical Chemistry

    Organic Chemistry

    Inorganic Chemistry

    Physical Chemistry

    Polymer Chemistry
