  1. A string of lights is wired in series if when you remove one they all go out.

    If travelers are traveling in an area with a magnetite deposit their compass will be effected. There are areas on charts(maps of water area) where it tells you there is a magnetic disturbance. Moss generally grows on the north sides of trees in the northern hemisphere because there is less light there and more moisture.

    A person who is near sighted, can see near or close up. He can not see far away. The image actually falls in front of the retina

    A person who is far sighted can see far away objects but can not see close ones. The image falls behind the retina.
