Need some help with this situation...?

My boyfriend bought a car from this guy that lives in our complex. He put a down payment and gave him the keys. Until he gives the final payment, he gets the title. Anyway...The guy my boyfriend bought the car from took everything out of the car except the speakers and the amp in the trunk. My boyfriend told him many times to take it out. But he still has not. Last night My boyfriend checked the car and everything was fine (doors locked, windows shut) This morning he went to go move the car and he noticed the window was down. Somebody obviously broke into the car. He found that the speakers and the amp were missing from the trunk. When he seen that he called the guy and told him it was stolen. The guy sounded like he knew what happen but tried to play it off. Now he wants my boyfriend to pay him $350 for it?....Do you think he should pay or is it the other guys fault?

nope. he probably has em. call the cops. and change the locks on the car. ro get an alarm.
