  1. hmm. um.......how about cookies with maroon and gold icing? or mebee football keychains? pom-poms that come with a cheerleader keychain. and u cld order those m&m's that have special colors and sell it.

  2. hmmm well white chocolate suckers are always nice. you can get food coloring for it and they have football molds too.

and for the cleaner side of things you can make lil hand soaps.

those are fun to make. you can make them to order too. all you really need is a microwave, a microwavable cup a, lil fridge thing to solidify the soap, the soap which you can find at most hobby stores, the scents and dyes.

then follow the directions on the soap bag. it is easy once you get it down.

  3. Most bake sales that I have seen price their products too low. People will go into a grocery store and spend $8-10 on a cake that is just marginal. Why not ask $10 for a great tasting home-made cake sold for a worthy cause?

Craft idea: Door hangers-take two large pine cones and add strips of ribbon in the school colors. Can also be sold as bird feeders, with addition of peanut butter.

I hope you all do well.

    Regards,

    Dan

  4. I think things that are packaged the best sell well.  I have saved all of my berry packages for just such a project.  They are big enough to hold a couple goodies, and they are perfect to grab and go.  You can make more money selling a few cookies, a couple Rice Krispy treats (which sell wonderfully!) and even some popcorn in these little packages than selling bigger portions.  If you are putting things in little bags, using the gold and maroon colors as ties would boost sales and team spirit.

Bottled water is a big money maker, and if you put team labels on them or team colors, again it could be novel.  We sell burritos and ethnic foods, and not only are the parents more involved, but the visitors like the goodies as well.

    Good luck!

  5. chicken wings go great with football, also pigs in a blanket, i can't help on crafts though unless you want to make a blanket...brownies are always a good seller

  6. A popular treat for bake sales are white chocolate lollipops. You can buy many colors and flavors of melting chocolate at most craft stores, along with molds, (you could probably find football molds) sticks, and wrappers. You could make the lollipops in the team colors (even buy gold sugar crystals or luster dust to make them extra sparkly and gold.) You could also use shinygold garland to tie the wrappers around the candies to make them more festive.

You could also fill goodie bags with maroon and gold M & Ms (some candy stores have many colors, or you could order them on-line) for an easy treat.

    Hope this helps! Good luck!
