Need some ideas about improving town recreations/sports?

my town recreation board has low membership, low participation and low funds. we only have basketball and baseball right now and i am looking for some ideas to get the ball rolling in the right direction with improvements to money from govt or donation ideas from buisness or comunity please give me any ideas that may help improve things for the kids.

you could have "open houses" that spotlight the different activities you offer...make it a family day\night in your town...good luck to you
