Need some ideas for a tattoo....

Question

I was thinkign of something along the lines of a cross(maybe seven or eight inches high) with upturned corners and the words "Be Without Fear" written across it horizontally. Now, that's nice and all, but I'd like to spice it up a little. Does anyone have any ideas on how to either make the cross more interesting(with a border, makign ti a different style[but not the Boondock Saints style or the arrows at the end style], or soemthign behind it)?

Or any other suggestion?

I'm completely broke right now, and I don't turn eighteen for like two more weeks anyways, but I'd like to formulate an idea first so that I can decide whether it's the one I really want or now. I'll probably put it on either the back fo my leg or my upper left shoulder blade.

For a cross like you describe, I would make it a celtic style cross. (Has a circle in it.) That way you could fit the script on the left, right, and center it equally. And it would look good in Old English script. Take the time to visit the shop you're going to beforehand. Then you can give the artist doing the work a few days to think about it, and give you a ballpark figure on the price. When you see a Celtic cross in the shop, if it really grabs you; you'll have a much better idea. Enjoy your birthday, and your new ink!

I'm telling you as a friend,Don't do it cause I have 15 of them and regret getting all but one.I started when i was 18 now that I'm older (allot older) I think about why or what the h**l was I thinking.Think about this If you get in trouble with the law they will have pictures of your tats then if you get in trouble again they can identify you by the tattoo/s.And not to mention some girls/women don't like tattoos plus their parents or your parents.
