  1. My opinion on this:

    - groom should wear a black tux

    - groomsmen should wear just black tuxes (no green accents -- only color should be in the boutonnieres)

And you're good to go from there on...

Any more details to help -- when is this wedding (season), where (climate)... etc.

EDIT: October, how nice!  And outside, even better... I'd go with the seasonal thing then with the flowers you choose (more autumn colors, maybe sprigs of berries).  And the green could be an olive/moss or dark green color.

Definitely all black tuxes, in my opinion.  Maybe the groom could have a white tie, something small that's different to set him apart, but not an all white tux in October especially (again, my opinion).

How about a sort of garden trellis at the altar spot?  And make it an autumn garden theme -- think midsummer night's dream meets harvest.  Think how you decorate a garden for ideas -- like garden statues, fountains, bird baths, lanterns, and get creative with them.  To add a whimsical touch, if you could find small decorative harps (for table tops), add little bells to the ribbons on the chairs, etc., or wooden flutes... you could have a lot of fun with this.

And it being outdoor -- I'd consider not wearing the traditional heels (hard outside to walk in) -- but going more with pretty dressy sandal type shoes.  They have so much to choose from now.

  2. Your colours sound great. They'll work well together.

    www.crystal-jewels.co.uk

  3. Really I don't see anything wrong with the colors. My colors are blue and green and my bridesmaid dresses will probably be green.

  4. Your colors sound fine.  If that's what you want, go for it.  It's your wedding, after all.  If it were mine, I'd choose traditional autumn colors for an October wedding.  I love the autumn colors!

Finding an outdoor location all depends on where you live.  Here, I would choose the state park near us.  Autumn coloring in the trees that surround the park. the bright blue sky, the blue/green color of the lake.

Drive around a little, look for good settings.  Keep in mind that you may need an alternate plan in case of rain.

  5. ok this one is very  common to me. the guys r wearing green and the girls r wearing green BUT it all depends on what kind of green it is ok. is it forest green, lime green , neon green , regular green , ect.... there all types of green so be sure to pick the green that suite u and ur man ok.

  6. you better rethink this. Its going to be tacky

  7. What kind of green are we talking about?

It sounds okay, depending on the shade.

  8. what type of green are you talking about? it could work and i think it will look nice.

  9. will the BM's have some black accents on their dresses?

go to www.weddingbycolor.com for some ideas

  10. I really think the groom should wear black too, only because you said it would be out side, and grass stains on the bottom of a white tux will stand out like a sore spot all day long.  But other than that it sounds great.

Green is a beautiful color and you can't go wrong with Hunter Green especially in the fall.

If you're wondering about cakes and things like that, try a pumpkin spice cake shaped like a pumpkin with green frosting (it can be frosted white, there are white pumpkins out there they just don't taste all that good) and little jack-o-lanter center pieces or aisle runners. (unless you don't want a halloween feel to your wedding in which case, scrape that idea.)

  11. whatever you feel comfortable with go along

good luck hope u find the best solution

  12. Yep!  Just fyi, some of the tux rental places partner with the bridesmaid dress places so you can get an exact color match between the vests and the dresses.  We used Men's Wearhouse and I think they matched David's Bridal shades.
