  1. Offers a great way of drawing people in - people like either great / reduced prices or free stuff! Its proven. You got to think like a customer.  The customer wants something different. Its not always about the name or the posted sign but ALSO about what your customers are getting.

A good and usual example is 'buy one get one free' You can improve on that. Like for example 'buy 1 get 3, free!!'

  2. If you do Chow Chows, Pits and Rotti's, that would be HUGE because it is very hard to find people to do them.  I have a chow and a pit and they are the sweetest gentelest animals ever, but finding a bather or groomer is insane.

If you do these, advertise that and I bet biz would open up.

Have a picture of a BLACK dog on one side of a page, and then a WHITE dog on the other as a before and after and say under it, "FIDO NEEDS A BATH!"

    Catchy phrase could be:

    YOUR PETS A MESS...

  3. Would need to see your adverising pieces to get to crazy here.

Window signs are adorable and very effective.

Ask your clients if you can take pictures of their pet before and after for testimonial purpose and start a flyer or put it on your mailings. (hint..mail it in the same neighborhood your testimony lives in)  Pictures are worth thousands of dollars.

Need a special for that pet owner that doesn't do regular bathing for their pet. Like..Special occasion? Clean up your pet  (make good one time price)

  4. You work for Petco...you don't own it... so why do you care about growing their business? Did they give you a budget for local advertising?....did they pay you and you're not paying us?...is that fair?
