Need some info about the working atmosphere in Hindustan Times.?

My friend who is a Finance professional at a senior level in a leading USA based multinational organisation in India has recently been offered a vacancy by the Hindustan Times Delhi. They have offered a remuneration far better than his present one.

Does anyone know how good is Hindustan Times as an organisation and how professional they are? Is it worth working with them and what are the perks of working with a media related firm (e.g. promos, movie launches etc???)

Hindustan Times is a renowned daily newspaper in India. It is part of Birla group which is anyways known for its efficiency and work culture. So its really good that your friend has got an offer from HT. Ask your friend to grab it without any delay. Its a good company.

I am going to answer part of your question because promos, wages etc.  is already known to some extent.  I am answering the professional part of it.  I am an Indian and have been living and working in the USA for over 8 years and I can tell you from my experience - Indians are way better professional and capable unlike what I have so far seen here in the States
