Need some info regarding eurail pass..?

i am plannin to go for a select pass for 6 days... i am wondering if catch an overnight train, will it be counted as 1 day or 2 days..

assumin i dont use the pass anymore on the second day...

  1. The answer to this is on the Eurail website in the FAQ section: http://www.eurail.com/1_frequently_asked... (see "How do I count the number of travel days I need on my pass?").

    If you get on a direct overnight train after 7 pm, it only counts the next day. Note that this means that if you took a train earlier on the same day as the night train, you use up two days. you can take as many trains as you want on the day you arrive, that day already counts from the night train you were on. If you take multiple trains to get to your destination, it's two days. Note that you have to pay a supplement on the night trains. In general a day is from midnight to midnight.
