    -2/3 + 3x +2/3 = 1/3 + 2/3

    3x = 1 Divide both sides by 3.

    3x/3 = 1/3

    x = 1/3

    2) This equation is missing a variable

    4x - 3 + 2x - 2 - x = 10

    5x -5 = 10 Add 5 to each side.

    5x -5 +5 = 10 + 5

    5x = 15 Divide both sides  by 5

    5x/5 = 15/5

    x = 3
