Ok so I need some more opinions on something, just to see if I'm imagining things or if there is something to worry about. Basically I'm really worried about my guy friend.

See on his wrist that the arrow is pointing to? If you look carefully it looks like they're are scars or red lines on his arm...

Do you think they're from self harming? Or do you think I'm worrying too much?

  1. Ask him if he cuts himself

  2. I cant see his arms well enough. Sorry. But take it from someone who used to cut, talk to him. Its what he needs. You can ask him about it, if you two are close, and tell him your here for him if he has any problems or whatever. I hope its not him cutting and that your paranoid, but if that turns out to be wrong then i suggest you talk to him and maybe hel him to realize he needs some help. Best of luck.

  3. I don't see anything. Why don't you ask him yourself.

  4. i really cant tell of any marks on his wrists...maybe just ask him

  5. I can't see much, sorry. But if you do actually think he's doing this then just sit him down and ask him about it.

Oh and in reply to eyez, that's not really true. A lot of people will go both ways, and people only think that because 'emos' are 'suppose' to do it horizontally (slitting wrists).

  6. get a close up. i just see lots of white on his arm.  no red marks.

  7. I can't see anything on his arm in that picture. If you are that concerned about it why don't you just ask him if he is cutting himself.

  8. The picture is really not that clear. Though I did learn that people that are serious about doing that make vertical instead of horizontal cuts. If they are from that they are not that bad, which does not mean you should not worry, but I would ask him what the marks are from and see what he says.

  9. I don't see much of anything, but if you're really worried why don't you ask him if he's self-harming....sometimes people that are miserable enough to hurt themselves just needs to notice that their actions are noticed and that someone cares enough to help them. If he's not then at least he'll know he has a good friend.
